About Connie Pollack

Connie PollackConnie Pollack, founder of Pollack Educational Consulting Services, LLC has worked in the field of education for 20+ years.  She began her educational consulting practice in 2004 when she made the transition from teaching to independent educational consulting.  It is through her 15 years of teaching experience, her experiences in school counseling, and her student assistance team consulting that Connie became interested in the field of counseling and educational consulting.

Connie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from The University of Georgia and her Master of Education degree in School Counseling from The University of Pittsburgh.  She is a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and adheres to high ethical standards (IECA Principles of Good Practice) in her consulting practice.  In 2004, she completed the IECA Practices & principles Training Institute for educational consultants and the Pennsylvania Association for College Admission Counseling (PACAC) Training Institute at Bucknell University.  She is also a member of PACAC.

In order to remain up-to-date on current admission trends, application policies, and programs, Connie:

1) regularly attends professional conferences to network with other       consultants and college admission directors,

2) tours on average 15-20 colleges and universities nationwide each year,

3) meets with admission counselors and interacts with college students on a     typical campus visit, and

4) spends time researching different colleges, universities, and other     educational programs from the east coast to the west coast.

Connie is an active member within her community and holds free college planning seminars locally.   She recently worked as a College Counselor for an independent high school in Pittsburgh and is always looking for new opportunities to help high school students in the college admission process.  Connie is married and is the mother of two grown boys who are graduates of Emory University and the University of Pittsburgh.
